Belsay Bark Park offers a beautiful, peaceful setting that’s easy to reach from the A696 and Belsay village. With exclusive private hire, you and your dog(s) have the freedom to walk, run and play at your own pace in a safe environment. Secure fencing and a private parking area make it an ideal choice for all dogs, particularly those who may be nervous or reactive around other dogs or people.

Booking is quick and easy, with single and multi-session options available, as well as the convenience of paying for recurring bookings in one go. There’s a weather shelter and seating area for owners, plus fresh water available on site for thirsty pups. And after all that running around, you can round off your visit with a trip to the Blacksmith’s Coffee Shop.

HOW TO BOOK

Choose Your Session

Pick the date and time that suits you and your dog using our easy online booking system. You can enter details as a guest, or join the website as a member for easy future booking.

Book & Pay Online

Complete your booking and payment online. You can book a single visit or multiple sessions. You just need to enter a few details and booking takes just 5 minutes.

Check Your Booking Confirmation

Once your booking is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email containing your unique gate access code. Keep this email handy - you’ll need the code when you arrive.

Enter Your Code & Enjoy

At the start of your session, enter your unique code on the key pad to unlock the gate. You have a 10 minute window at the start of your session to enter your code. There will be a sign with full instructions on how to enter the code and unlock the gate. If you have any problems please call the office on 01661 881206.

ABOUT US

Belsay Bark Park is a secure, private dog walking field in Belsay, Northumberland, conveniently located near Belsay village and easily accessible from the A696. You’ll find us close to the Belsay Estate Office and Blacksmith’s Coffee Shop – the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat before or after your dog’s run.

The park is owned by Belsay Estate and run by Laura de Wesselow, owner of the Estate and organiser of the renowned Belsay International Horse Trials. Set in the beautiful Northumberland countryside, Belsay Bark Park has been created to provide a safe, secure and stress free space where dogs can run, play and explore freely.

OPENING HOURS

Belsay Bark Park is open 7 days a week, giving you plenty of opportunities to enjoy our secure, private dog field in Belsay, Northumberland.

From April to September, we’re open 7am–8pm, with the latest booking at 7pm. From October to March, we’re open 8am–5pm, with the latest booking at 4pm.

All visits are booked in advance, giving you exclusive use of the field for your session.

On Arrival

Please arrive a few minutes early and have your unique access code ready from your booking confirmation email. Your code will work from the start of your booked session and for a 10-minute grace period. Please wait until the previous visitors have left before entering and ensure you have read our full booking policy before you arrive. Entrance and Car Park are located opposite the the Blacksmith's Coffee Shop.

On Departure

Please allow enough time at the end of your session to gather your belongings, secure your dog and leave the field promptly at your booked finish time, ready for our next visitors. Before you go, please leave the field as you found it, using the bins provided for dog waste and rubbish, and let us know if you notice any damage or issues with the fencing, gates or equipment.
